Twenty five years ago I taught Christopher's uncle, David, piano lessons in
Southern California. I was thrilled when Christopher's grandparents
(David's parents) came up to see him perform in the festival.

These young students are working hard to be able to perform in the next
Clavinova Festival. Ranging in ages 3-8, there will be many opportunities
for them to perform.

| The Clavinova Festival is an annual recital sponsored by Yamaha. While my students have different opportunities to perform, this is by far their favorite event. This recital takes the "scare" out of performing. Held in a more casual environment, students learn to feel comfortable and just have fun. They love playing on the Clavinova with instrumental backgrounds that add enthusiasm and excitement to their performance. |
